Marc began his career in the hair industry as a hairdresser at one of Glasgow's high end salons. He became infatuated with barbering and decided he wanted to pursue the career he had wished for by leaving behind the salon and began working in a barber shop.

Marc quickly discovered his real passion for hair was within this environment and continued to thrive within his new setting and achieving a real wealth of knowledge in all aspects of cutting gents hair.

It was with this passion that he and his business partner Calum created "CODE". A modern day brand carefully tailored to suit the essential needs of the modern man.

Calum studied Barbering at City of Glasgow College where he gained the basic understanding of the industry which allowed him to progress into a full time position in one of Glasgow's busiest barbershops.

Calum grew his clientele and skills immensely quick and was offered a position at a prestigious barbershop in Glasgow's West End, it is here Calum really began to excel within the industry.

He was then scouted to work with hugely successful and well known fashion brands giving him the opportunity to travel extensively allowing him to bring home a greater knowledge and understanding of many different cultures.

Calum's infectious personality and remarkable work ethic has given him the experience and tools to co-found what is today, "CODE" Essential Barbering.
